At People Rise, we are dedicated to raising immediate solutions everywhere, addressing urgent needs across the globe. Our mission is to unite individuals and communities, fostering an understanding that we are all threads in the vast tapestry of life. We are connected to nature, to one another, and to every single tree, leaf, flower, grain of sand, and drop of water in the ocean. With each teardrop shed across the globe, we feel the heartbeat of humanity, reminding us of our shared existence.

Though we are not a religious organization, we acknowledge that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. Our connection transcends boundaries, beliefs, and backgrounds, urging us to recognize that we are, in essence, one family. In a world filled with disconnection, the sooner we embrace this truth, the sooner we can heal and fulfill our higher missions.

Our focus begins with the most vulnerable among us—children around the world who are starving, lacking shelter, safe spaces, and havens of hope. We believe that the welfare of our children is paramount, as they are the future of our planet. From there, we expand our efforts to safeguard not only the delicate balance of our ecosystems but also the rich tapestry of life that includes endangered species—plants, animals, and humans alike.

By nurturing compassion and understanding for all living beings, we align ourselves with the wisdom of our elders, ancestors, and generations that have come before us, recognizing that their teachings hold the key to harmonious coexistence with nature. Samantha James is a celebrated singer-songwriter and artist, whose music has resonated with audiences around the world. Known for her powerful voice and heartfelt lyrics, Samantha’s music carries a message of hope, healing, and transformation. Her debut single, RISE, reached number one on the Billboard charts and became an anthem for collective change, setting the stage for her broader mission of uniting people through art, service, and compassion.

While music has shaped her career, Samantha’s true passion lies in being a steward of the light—a guiding force committed to unity, love, and service. She believes that the most profound work we can do in this life is to help one another evolve, grow, and rise together. This vision not only drives her music but also fuels her life’s work with People Rise Global, an organization she co-founded with her partner, Ryan Lapinski. Together, they are creating a global movement focused on uniting people around the world and addressing the urgent needs of the planet with love, peace, and immediate action.

At the heart of Samantha’s mission is a profound commitment to healing. She feels deeply the urgency of the healing that is needed in the world today—not only for the planet but for all of humanity. This awareness is central to her music and her work with People Rise. Her vision is clear: to raise collective consciousness, inspire positive change, and facilitate deep healing, both individually and collectively, as we move toward a more unified future.

The concept for People Rise was inspired by Samantha’s hit song, RISE, with its powerful lyrics: “People rise together when they believe in tomorrow, change today to forever, as life keeps moving.” These words embody her mission to foster unity and healing, inspiring a world where we rise together and act with purpose.

Guided by her deep love for God and all living creatures, Samantha is committed to creating a world where every person can come together as one global family. Whether through her music, her advocacy, or her daily actions, she strives to uplift, unite, and serve the planet and its people.

Through People Rise, Samantha and Ryan are planting seeds of hope and healing, ensuring that we rise together with love and act with purpose in a time of great need. Their vision is simple yet profound: when we come together in service to one another, we can heal the world and create lasting change.

To my brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, cousins, aunties, uncles, grandmothers, grandfathers—Ohana—the tribe of one:

So much love and aloha to you! I’m so grateful you’ve joined us here on this planet, in this sacred and precious present moment. Your presence is my present, and mine is yours, as we co-create a new destiny together.

I’m a father, a brother, a son, a grandson, and a friend. A lifelong surfer. A devoted lover of Mother Nature, Father God, Jesus, and the divine presence that flows through all life. I walk this path with reverence, humility, and gratitude.

It has been my absolute honor to serve the ʻāina (land) as an organic, sustainable, and regenerative farmer. For 22 beautiful years, I’ve managed a 1,500-acre macadamia nut plantation in the Hawaiian Islands—offering my aloha and presence daily to the land and its life.

I find deep joy in healing the land through organic soil remediation, microbial and fungal regeneration, and the creation of thriving ecosystems. My work integrates ancient wisdom with modern ecological practices—companion planting, beneficial bacteria, glacial rock dust, mycelial root inoculations, and more. We cultivate hundreds of thousands of trees and plants across about 67 species of organic fruits, vegetables, and nuts—biodynamic, regenerative, and sustainable. I live to grow, and to grow in service.

In addition to farming, I’m a certified nutritionist, personal trainer, and lifeguard. But more than any title, I strive to be a good soul doing good work—for the planet, for my daughter, for my ohana, for my community, and for our global family.

At People Rise, we believe in uniting people, humanitarian nonprofits, and anyone with a heart for positive change. Together, we create uplifting gatherings rooted in music, love, peace, and action. The name RISE stands for:

Raising Immediate Solutions Everywhere.

That acronym—and this vision—was deeply inspired by the beautiful song RISE, written by none other than my real-life earth angel and goddess, Samantha James. We’ve known each other since childhood and, over the years, have formed a bond unbreakable by time.

I love this beautiful woman’s heart with all of my soul. She is a light in this world.

And so, People Rise Global was born:

A movement uniting people in community awareness and collective response to the urgent needs of our world—placing human dignity and the wellbeing of our children above economics and bureaucracy.
